Mike Divine: Local Roots, Local Values

Mike grew up in the close-knit community of Crystal Falls, Michigan, alongside his future wife, Kari, who was his neighbor. After high school, Mike served three years in the U.S. Army with the 25th Infantry Division. His military service instilled a strong sense of discipline and dedication, qualities he brings to his professional life today.

Following his service, Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Land Surveying from Michigan Technological University. His early career involved ground-truthing and land surveys throughout Lower Michigan, while Kari pursued her graduate studies in aquatic ecology at Michigan State University.

In 2002, Mike transitioned into the title insurance industry, a field that combines his technical expertise with his passion for local history. He finds great satisfaction in uncovering the unique stories hidden within the region’s land records.

Mike and Kari are proud parents of three children — Jake, Cassidy, and Madeline — each forging their own path. As a small business owner, Mike values helping people and being part of a supportive, small-town community. Whether guiding clients through real estate transactions or contributing to local initiatives, he approaches every endeavor with expertise, professionalism, and a commitment to service.
